This #ERC_funded_research, led by Mehdi Senoussi and Laurie Galas and in collaboration with Niko Busch, clarifies the functional role of neural oscillations in attentional orienting and exploration. We highlight theta oscillations as a signature of spatial exploration rather than a domain-general mechanism.
